About two weeks later, I got two scripts at my in-laws\u2019 house in River Forest.\u201d Any guesses as to how Columbus each saved his profession and solidified a Christmas basic? \u201cOne was <em>Home Alone, <\/em>with a note from John asking if I wanted to direct. I thought, Wow, this guy is really supporting me when no one else in Hollywood was going to. John was my savior.\u201d<\/mark> Jeremiah S.
