There he meets her widow, Jill (Vicky Krieps), who has questions of her own.\u00a0 Over the nights that follow, Elizabeth returns and possesses Jack and Jill, using each of their bodies to speak to the other.\u00a0 Caught in a life-threatening nocturnal dance, Jack and Jill must find a way to relinquish Elizabeth\u2019s hold before she pushes them to the edge.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe psychological drama impressed by author\/director Samuel Van Grinsven\u2019s reminiscences of his childhood in New Zealand\u2019s South Island.<\/p>\n \n\tWent Up The\u00a0Hill<\/em>\u00a0was produced by Vicky Pope, Samantha Jennings, and Kristina Ceyton with principal manufacturing funding from the New Zealand Film Commission and Screen Australia, and assist from Screen CanterburyNZ, Create NSW, Spectrum Films, Stage 23, RM Sound, Head Gear Films, Vendetta Films, Fulcrum Media Finance and the New Zealand Government\u2019s Screen Production Grant.<\/p>\n \n\tGreenwich\u2019s Andy Bohn negotiated the acquisition with CAA Media Finance and Bankside Films on behalf of the filmmakers.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tGrinsven mentioned: \u201cFollowing our beautiful launch in Toronto, it\u2019s a thrill that\u00a0Greenwich\u00a0will now bring\u00a0Went Up The\u00a0Hill<\/em>\u00a0to cinemas.
