\n\tKrypto, the Superdog of DC Comics, will seem in James Gunn<\/a>\u2018s upcoming Superman<\/a> <\/em>movie, his first appearance in a live-action film, thanks to Ozu, Gunn\u2019s personal canine greatest good friend. <\/p>\n \n\tIn a touching publish on social media, Gunn described how his personal rescue pup impressed him to incorporate the character within the upcoming movie set for launch on July 11, 2025.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cKrypto was inspired by our dog Ozu, who we adopted shortly after I started writing\u00a0Superman<\/em>,\u201d Gunn wrote in a publish on X. \u201cOzu, who came from a hoarding situation in a backyard with 60 other dogs & never knew human beings, was problematic to say the least. He immediately came in & destroyed our home, our shoes, our furniture \u2014 he even ate my laptop. It took a long time before he would even let us touch him.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tGunn then remembers pondering, \u201cGosh, how tough would life be if Ozu had superpowers?<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAnd thus Krypto came into the script & changed the shape of the story as Ozu was changing my life,\u201d he continues. \u201cWhat better time to debut the not-so-good-good-boy Krypto than #AdoptAShelterDog month.\u00a0Btw, Ozu today, is, fairly often, a very good boy.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe first take a look at the character in a movement picture (see under and picture above) reveals David Corenswet\u2019s Superman sitting on the moon alongside Krypto searching at Earth.<\/p>\n
