The 59-year-old actor, who performed Iron Man within the MCU, stunned followers in Hall H on Saturday, July 27, at San Diego Comic Con by unmasking himself as villain Victor Von Doom within the upcoming movie Avengers: Doomsday<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Filmmaker Joe Russo launched Robert by telling the gang at Marvel\u2019s panel how they made their casting determination for the character.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we\u2019re going to bring Victor Von Doom to the screen \u2014 he is one of the more complex characters in all of comics \u2026 this is potentially one of the more entertaining characters in all of fiction,\u201d he defined. \u201cIf we\u2019re going to do this, then we are going to need the greatest actor in the world.\u00a0As proof of the unimaginable possibilities of the Marvel Universe, we give you the one person who could play Victor von Doom.\u201d<\/p>\n

That role chose me,\u201d he mentioned in April about his character Iron Man, who died in Avengers: Endgame<\/em> after sacrificing himself to defeat Thanos. \u201cAnd look, I always say, never, ever bet against Kevin Feige.
