Jodie Turner-Smith<\/a><\/strong> revealed she loves seeing her daughter<\/a> develop up amid her break up<\/a> from estranged husband Joshua Jackson<\/a><\/strong> in an interview on <\/span>Good Morning America<\/span><\/i> on Monday, June 3. \u201cShe loves movies\u2026<\/span>Even from when she was much younger she will sit there watching something,\u201d shared the 37-year-old actress.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI put it on [<\/span>Star Wars: The Acolyte<\/span><\/i> trailer] and I was with my daughter, and I was like so excited\u2026She loves this little <\/span>Star Wars<\/span><\/i> cartoon and so I was like, \u2018Look, it\u2019s mummy in <\/span>Star Wars\u2019<\/span><\/i>\u2026And she was like, \u2018Eek, scary!\u201d exclaimed the Mother Aniseya actress about her daughter who was scared by \u201cso many lightsabers.\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

This uncommon household replace comes shortly after Jodie\u2019s break up from Joshua following a 4-year marriage as a consequence of \u201cirreconcilable differences,\u201d Jodie acknowledged to <\/span>E! News<\/span><\/i>. The two tied the knot in August 2019 whereas she was pregnant with their present daughter.<\/span><\/p>\n

They have made certain to prioritize their daughter as soon as they broke up and requested for joint custody. \u201cThe bravest thing in the world is to recognize when something\u2019s not working and to make a move, and I always want to set that kind of example for my daughter\u2026Sometimes things we really want to work just don\u2019t end up working\u2026And that\u2019s OK. The most important thing is that you choose what\u2019s healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children,\u201d she expressed to The <\/em><\/span>Sunday Times<\/span><\/i> in February.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the ex-couple not being collectively, Jodie<\/a> recalled her expertise with Joshua as a \u201cbeautiful moment.\u201d The former <\/span>Queen & Slim <\/span><\/i>star acknowledged, \u201cThere are so many different moments in our life where we look at ourselves and say, \u2018Who am I and am I being true to that?\u2019 If the answer is no, then you have to make a move because I believe that there are visible scars from staying in places that are not good for us. And they don\u2019t just affect us, they affect everybody around us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Sex Education <\/span><\/i>actress conveyed, \u201cAnd now it\u2019s time for a new moment for both of us\u2026And how exciting!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding on to the thrill of beginning a brand new chapter,\u00a0 Jodie communicated to GMA<\/em> her enthusiasm about The Acolyte.\u00a0<\/em>\u201cI\u2019ve never been so excited to watch myself in something\u2026 When I saw the trailer for the first time I jumped in the air \u2013 I was like Zendaya<\/a><\/strong> at the end scene of Challengers<\/em> like \u2018COME ON!\u2019 I was so excited, I\u2019m so thrilled,\u201d she disclosed.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
