Back in 2023, whereas selling Violent Night<\/em>, John Leguizamo revealed that he was initially in talks to play the Vulture in 2017\u2019s Spider-Man: Homecoming<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI was supposed to be the Vulture,\u201d Leguizamo advised Comicbook on the time<\/a>. \u201cWe had negotiated and I was about to play him, and they said that Michael Keaton wanted it back and they asked me if I would give it up. I said, \u2018Well, okay I guess.\u2019 They said, \u2018No, we\u2019ll work with you again, we\u2019re gonna\u2026\u2019 That\u2019s what happened there.\u201d<\/p>\n In a brand new interview with Business Insider<\/a>, Leguizamo nonetheless feels a sure manner about it and advised the outlet: \u201cI didn\u2019t understand it. I think another actor would\u2019ve sued because we had agreed on terms. We went through a huge negotiation period, and we had agreed on terms. I hadn\u2019t signed a contract, but we had agreed. I think those are sueable terms.\u201d<\/p>\n Leguizamo added: \u201cAnd then the head of the studio called me up and said, \u2018This is terrible. I feel horrible, and would you give it up?\u2019 And I did. I felt like, if you didn\u2019t want me, I don\u2019t want to be there either, you know what I mean?\u201d<\/p>\n
