Emma Slater<\/a>\u00a0is opening up about her self-care ways.\n<\/p>\n Two years after Slater, 35, separated from her ex-husband, fellow Dancing with the Stars<\/em><\/a>\u00a0professional dancer\u00a0Sasha Farber<\/a>, she informed PEOPLE that she \u201ccouldn\u2019t be happier\u201d spending time alone lately.\n<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been traveling a little bit. It\u2019s a bit of a clich\u00e9 thing to say, but spending time by myself has been the most rewarding thing that I\u2019ve done in the last few months,\u201d Slater stated on the Race to Erase MS\u00a0Gala on the Fairmont Spa Century Plaza in Los Angeles on Friday, May 10.\n<\/p>\n \u201cDancing with the Stars<\/em> just wrapped a tour a little over a month ago, and since then I’ve spent some really good quality time by myself, and I haven’t done that in years,\u201d she admitted. \u201cIt has really helped me so much, and I was petrified about doing that to begin with, but I forced myself to do it.\u201d\n<\/p>\n The dancer added that \u201cI\u2019m truly dating myself, and I love that.\u201d<\/p>\n Getty(2)<\/p>\n <\/span> Slater and Farber tied the knot in 2018 after years of relationship \u2014 and after an engagement throughout a reside taping<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0DWTS\u00a0<\/em>in October 2016. After 4 years of marriage, the pair cut up in 2022, with a supply telling PEOPLE in 2023 that \u201cthere’s no bad blood\u201d and the divorce was amicable<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n For Slater, being by herself is completely \u201cenough for now.\u201d\n<\/p>\n \u201cI think it’s that I’m enough by myself, and I don’t need to be with anybody to feel kind of validated and happy, and that I can make myself happy,\u201d she stated.\n<\/p>\n Despite her current, refreshing time alone, Slater and\u00a0Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a>\u00a0star Mauricio Umansky sparked relationship rumors final 12 months once they have been noticed holding arms after being paired collectively for DWTS. <\/em>\n<\/p>\n They shut the relationship rumors down<\/a> in October 2023, with Umansky stating they have been \u201cnot dating.\u201d The pair have stored in contact as buddies.\n<\/p>\n \u201cHe’s doing good,\u201d Slater informed PEOPLE on the purple carpet. \u201cI mean, he’s so busy right now.
