\n\tMarvel Studios<\/a> Co-President Louis D\u2019Esposito and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige<\/a> are addressing the tough patch the studio has been by over the previous few years.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf we just stayed on top, that would have been the worst thing that could have happened to us,\u201d D\u2019Esposito mentioned in an interview with Empire<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWe took a little hit, we\u2019re coming back strong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued, \u201cMaybe when you do too much, you dilute yourself a little bit. We\u2019re not going to do that anymore. We learned our lesson. Maybe two to three films a year and one or two shows, as opposed to doing four films and four shows.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tD\u2019Esposito is speaking about \u201csuperhero fatigue,\u201d which Disney CEO Bob Iger acknowledged in at this time\u2019s earnings name<\/a>. The plan going ahead with Marvel Studios is to launch \u201ctwo good films\u201d a 12 months, presumably three, and minimize the variety of TV sequence spinoffs.<\/p>\n

\n\tDeadpool & Wolverine<\/em>, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, is the one Marvel movie being launched this 12 months, which is one thing Feige welcomes.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s nice to be able to rally behind one feature project this year,\u201d Feige advised the publication. \u201cI\u2019m much more comfortable being the underdog. I prefer being able to surprise, and exceed expectations. So it does seem like the last year, which has not been ideal, has set us up well for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMarvel Studios plans on releasing 4 movies in 2025: Captain America: Brave New World<\/em> (Feb. 14), Thunderbolts<\/em> (May 2), Fantastic Four<\/em> (July 25) and Blade<\/em> (Nov. 7).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
