This clothier\u00a0desires an apology from Kylie Jenner<\/strong> for stealing her design concepts \u2014 proper now!<\/p>\n Last month, Jessica Johansen-Bell<\/strong> blasted the fact star for copying considered one of her \u201csignature\u201d collections<\/a> she launched \u201cthree or four years ago.\u201d The accusation got here after Kylie posted an image of herself in a skin-tight white gown \u2014 a chunk from her clothes line Khy<\/strong>. Plenty of followers agreed it was a stolen design!<\/p>\n And Jessica isn\u2019t the one clothier who has accused Kylie of stealing her work! Betsy Johnson<\/strong> (not that one, the one who created the road PRODUCTS<\/strong>) claimed the make-up mogul ripped off her concepts<\/a> when Khy launched, saying she had emailed Kylie and her staff ideas, language, and line sheets from her clothes line in 2023. Instead of working along with her, although, they allegedly used her concepts with out giving her credit score. In an interview with Dailymail.com<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday, she slammed Kylie for being \u201cmorally corrupt\u201d in stealing from a smaller firm and apparently not feeling regret over it:<\/p>\n \u201cI reached out to the Khy company when I saw this. I was like, \u2018Take this down. My customers are just getting confused.\u2019 And it was getting worse by the day. It started to stress me out. It just seems so morally corrupt for such a large-scale company to rip off such a small brand and sell it for such a small amount of money. It devalues the whole brand.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n However, Kylie\u2019s staff was not keen to budge on the matter. According to Jessica, they refused to take down the seems to be and insisted the seems to be have been authentic designs:<\/p>\n \u201cHer team responded and said: \u2018We innovated these designs.\u2019 I told them: \u2018You did not. What makes the entire scenario even worse? Kylie collaborated with Jessica previously! The Australian designer reminded the outlet she first despatched attire to her in 2018, and The Kardashians<\/em> star posted footage of herself in them to social media. And that wasn\u2019t the top of their working relationship both. For her twenty first birthday, Kylie\u2019s stylist allegedly contacted Jessica to ship some attire and she or he posed in them for the large day. Jessica recalled:<\/p>\n \u201cIn 2018, we sent a few styles to her house, and she wore my dresses in 50 or so videos\u2026 I was fresh in my business. At the time I was not sending that kind of stock overseas because that was huge expense for me. But I saw the opportunity and I just took it on. So we just continued sending her stylists clothes. We sent her a box in 2019 of the whole collection, so it had all the twisted strap styles that you see in her current collection.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Imagine Jessica\u2019s shock when her social media blew up with a bunch of individuals tagging her and realized Kylie stole her designs years later! She stated:<\/p>\n \u201cWhen she dropped this latest collection I was getting all these DMs. I just thought it was old content because we get tagged in her old stuff all the time. I saw it and I just thought it was one of my dresses. This is when I first realized. I went on her website, and I was just so shocked.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n While Jessica was \u201cflattered\u201d by Kylie sporting her garments previously, her perspective towards the star has fully modified in mild of the scandal:<\/p>\n \u201cAt first I was flattered by her wearing my clothing. She was the first celebrity that really wore my stuff like I had other celebrities but she was the first big celebrity. It was big for me. But then when she ripped off my whole collection \u2013 I stopped feeling flattered.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Oof. Does Jessica plan on taking authorized motion towards Kylie now? Not presently. Instead, she\u2019s asking for one thing really easy: an apology. She defined:<\/p>\n \u201cThere has been legal communication, but nothing is getting pursed. It\u2019s like it\u2019s such a fine line between what you can trademark. There are consumer laws where I can say that she\u2019s stealing like my customer base, or she is damaging my brand reputation. There are loopholes and there are ways around it, but it\u2019s such a nasty fight and I\u2019m just not in a place where I want to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Jessica continued:<\/p>\n \u201cI think she should care more. It is just not fair. Instead of going quiet about it, she could have messaged me and said, \u2018I am sorry.\u2019 She could have said, \u2018Sorry about this I see the similarities.\u2019 An apology goes a long way. I hope that this is a lesson for her. She needs to get put in her place. No one is too big for the power of the people. But she is already onto the next thing anyways.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Unfortunately, Jessica is likely to be ready for that apology for a looong time!
