Denise Huskins<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about her abduction with unfiltered particulars. During her Tuesday, April 2, look on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast, the American Nightmare<\/em><\/a> topic, 38, recalled being \u201cdead asleep\u201d together with her now-husband, Aaron Quinn<\/strong><\/a>, and considering she \u201cwas dreaming\u201d when she heard abductor Matthew Muller<\/strong> <\/a>within the room.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could hear a strange man\u2019s voice, and it\u2019s like my subconscious was conflicted. It was almost as if it were saying, \u2018Don\u2019t wake up, don\u2019t wake up,’\u201d Huskins defined to podcast host Alex Cooper. In that second, she and Quinn have been woken up by what they thought have been a number of males, and one in every of them instructed Denise to tie up her then-boyfriend.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were so many little pieces of it that was just so hard to even process,\u201d Huskins defined to Alex. \u201cIt isn\u2019t what you\u2019d normally think \u2014 you watch true crime or horror movies, and you see this crazy, passionate violence and realizing that criminals can be patient and in control, and planned out was even more horrifying to process.\u201d<\/p>\n

After being compelled to take sedatives and put headphones on that performed \u201cpre-recorded messages,\u201d Huskins recalled considering to herself, \u201cMaybe this is just a robbery.\u201d However, it ended up being her abduction.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe night progressively got worse, and they separated me from Aaron and brought me downstairs, and then he came in \u2014 there was just one man who was speaking, and it was the man who held me captive,\u201d Huskins continued. \u201cAnd he said \u2018This wasn\u2019t meant for you, this was meant for\u2014\u2019 and he named Aaron\u2019s ex by her first and last name<\/a>. We need to figure out what we\u2019re going to do.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Huskins was kidnapped in March 2015. She was held captive by Muller for 40 hours. Amid her abduction, he raped Huskins earlier than ultimately returning her again to her hometown.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to almost detach because you can\u2019t be present in the horror of the situation,\u201d Huskins mentioned on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast. \u201cYou have to think of all the possibilities that anything can go wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

To their shock, Huskins and Quinn confronted accusations from police. Authorities and the general public speculated that the couple had staged the kidnapping equally to Ben Affleck<\/a>\u2018<\/strong>s film Gone Girl<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Following the horrifying ordeal, Huskins and Quinn acquired married and welcomed two daughters collectively. Earlier this 12 months, Huskins and Quinn appeared within the docuseries American Nightmare<\/em> to inform their story.<\/p>\n
