Princess Kate<\/strong><\/a> has been recognized<\/a> with most cancers, she introduced in a brand new video<\/a> message on Friday, March 22. Hours beforehand, a number of stories surfaced claiming that Kensington Palace was going to make a press release about her situation<\/a> following her belly surgical procedure.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery,\u201d the Princess of Wales, 42, started within the clip. \u201cIt has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I\u2019ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cIn January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages<\/a> of that treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Princess of Wales added that her prognosis \u201cof course came as a huge shock, and [Prince<\/strong>] William<\/strong><\/a> and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs you can imagine, this has taken time,\u201d she defined within the 2-minute video. \u201cIt has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis<\/a> in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK.\u201d<\/p>\n

Toward the top of the transferring video, Kate defined, \u201cAs I\u2019ve said to [my children], I am well, and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal, in my mind, body and spirits.\u201d<\/p>\n

After crediting her husband, 41, as a \u201cgreat source of comfort and reassurance,\u201d Kate emphasised that the \u201clove, support and kindness\u201d from followers has additionally been comforting.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope you\u2019ll understand that as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment,\u201d Kate clarified on the finish. \u201cMy work has alway brought me a deep sense of joy, and I look forward to being back when I\u2019m able. But for now, I must focus on making a full recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n

After taking a pause, Kate famous that she has additionally been considering of the others \u201cwhose lives have been affected by cancer.\u201d She urged everybody dwelling with any type of the illness to \u201cplease\u201d not \u201close faith or hope.\u201d<\/p>\n
