I remember them laying her down next to me.\u201d He stated that there was \u201ca lot of panic. I still just couldn\u2019t figure out what had happened. I thought, \u2018Was there something stuck in the barrel that came out?\u2019 But just nothing made sense.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHe stated that he recalled trying up and recognizing Gutierrez-Reed, who was standing with a couple of different individuals. \u201cShe looked distraught. And I remember her saying, \u2018I\u2019m sorry. I\u2019m sorry Joel.\u2019 And I remember somebody just screaming at her and they just ushered her out.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHe stated that he remembered trying over at Hutchins \u201cand her looking back at me and she had the biggest brown eyes I had ever seen.\u201d He stated that he was placed on \u201csome kind of stretcher\u201d and informed that he could be taken to the hospital. \u201cI kept begging them to take me where she was,\u201d he stated. \u201cBut they said they couldn\u2019t and that they would later.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tHe was taken to a hospital in Santa Fe. He stated that it took some time for him to understand that he had been shot by a bullet. \u201cIt just could not compute for me. I just kept saying, \u2018You don\u2019t understand. No, no, no. This is a movie set.
