Andy Cohen<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>apologized to\u00a0Brandi Glanville<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>for appearing \u201ctotally inappropriate\u201d in direction of her, after Brandi accused him of sexual harassment. Attorneys for the previous Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>star, 51, despatched a letter to NBCUniversal, Warner Bros. and Shed Media on February 22 claiming that Andy, 55, despatched her an inappropriate video whereas he was \u201cobviously inebriated\u201d in 2022, in accordance with PEOPLE<\/em><\/a>. The letter mentioned that Andy allegedly \u201cboasted of his intention to sleep with another Bravo star that night while thinking of her and invited her to watch via Facetime\u201d in his video to Brandi.<\/p>\n

In response to Brandi\u2019s allegations, Andy launched an announcement on Twitter the place he insisted he was merely joking within the video he allegedly despatched her.<\/p>\n

In the letter, Brandi\u2019s attorneys slammed Andy and mentioned it\u2019s \u201cinconceivable\u201d he\u2019s saved his job as a Bravo producer and host of Watch What Happens Live<\/a> <\/em>after the alleged incident with Brandi. \u201cMr. Cohen was Ms. Glanville\u2019s boss at the time and exercised complete and total control over her career,\u201d the letter reportedly learn. \u201cThis was an extraordinary abuse of power that left Ms. Glanville\u00a0feeling trapped and disgusted. It is inconceivable that Mr. Cohen remains in his post in spite of\u00a0this behavior and harkens back to the bad old days of Matt Lauer<\/strong><\/a> and NBC News when profits\u00a0were prioritized over people.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, a supply who allegedly noticed Andy\u2019s video informed\u00a0PEOPLE\u00a0<\/em>the recording was clearly a joke. \u201cNo one in their right mind would think that anything Andy was saying in that video was meant to be taken seriously. It was very clear that everyone was in on the joke,\u201d the insider mentioned.<\/p>\n

Brandi\u2019s allegations in opposition to Andy come on the heels of Caroline Manzo<\/strong>\u2018s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip <\/em>lawsuit<\/a>. In January, Caroline, 62, reportedly sued Bravo and Peacock after she was allegedly sexually harassed<\/a> by Brandi while filming\u00a0RHUGT\u00a0<\/em>in Morocco in early 2023. Caroline\u2019s lawsuit blamed Bravo and the showrunners for encouraging Brandi\u2019s \u201csexually offensive and harassing content.\u201d Brandi, who just isn’t being sued by Caroline, beforehand denied<\/a> the\u00a0Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>alum\u2019s allegations.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
