These Sister Wives<\/em><\/a> sit-down interviews are bringing the drama. During the December 3 episode of the Sister Wives: One on One<\/em> particular, Christine Brown<\/strong><\/a> tells Sukanya \u201cSuki\u201d Krishnan\u00a0<\/strong>the story of what occurred to Kody Brown\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> first marriage ceremony ring.<\/p>\n Christine, 51, explains<\/a> that Kody, 54, and Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a> had a hoop that he later melted down. According to Christine, Kody \u201cdidn\u2019t want Meri, 52, to have control\u201d over him anymore. Kody had worn that ring for 15 years earlier than all of the sister wives got here collectively to provide him the Claddagh ring.<\/p>\n After the one-on-one interviews happen, Meri learns that Christine instructed the story about Kody\u2019s first marriage ceremony ring. \u201cI am extremely frustrated right now,\u201d Meri says within the episode. \u201cBeyond. After we did the taping for the one-on-one interviews with Suki, I found out that a story was brought up about me that is not a story that I have ever shared publicly. That is my story to tell when, where, and how I want to. And somebody else took it upon themselves to tell that story, and now I\u2019m being forced to talk about it. I\u2019m not happy about it.\u201d<\/p>\n She continues, \u201cIt was not Christine\u2019s business to tell. She can laugh about it all she wants, but it was not her business to tell. If I wanted to have shared that story in the last 13 years in a public way, I would have done that. She doesn\u2019t get to come on here and tell my story without me even knowing it and me finding out later that this is what happened. And so now I feel like my hand is being forced and I have to tell my story.\u201d<\/p>\n Meri explains to Suki the explanation why Kody had the ring melted down. \u201cHe did not want me to have claim on him,\u201d she says. \u201cHe didn\u2019t think that it was fair that I had claim on him, so his way of doing that was to melt down the wedding ring. That was a symbol. That was a sign of our marriage and our commitment, and he melted it down. Who\u2019s to say that he didn\u2019t just melt down our whole relationship in that moment? Symbolically, that\u2019s what he did to me.\u201d<\/p>\n Meri admits she requested to maintain the ring, however Kody already had it melted down with out even asking her. \u201cIt was a very, very painful situation,\u201d Meri says. This all passed off 7 years earlier than Meri\u2019s catfishing incident. \u201cAnd I spent those 7 years trying to be in this relationship with Kody<\/a> that he did not want to be in with me,\u201d she notes.<\/p>\n While Christine claims Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a> was within the image when Kody had his first marriage ceremony ring melted down, Robyn, 45, denies this.
