\n\t\u201cWhat do you think about [the] crash scenes? They looked pretty harsh, drastic and, I must say, cheesy for me,\u201d the viewers member requested Driver in the course of the post-screening Q&A on Sunday. \u201cWhat do you think?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDriver attended the cinematography-oriented movie competition to just accept the Special EnergaCamerimage Award <\/a>for an Actor, in addition to introduce \u201cFerrari,\u201d one of many entries within the Camerimage Main Competition.<\/p>\n

\n\tDriver<\/a>\u00a0portrays Enzo\u00a0Ferrari<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Michael Mann<\/a>\u2018s biographical drama, which follows the lifetime of the legendary sports-car magnate in 1957 as his firm prepares to enter the Mille Miglia, a 100-mile, open-road motorsport race. Penelope Cruz, Shailene Woodley, Gabriel Leone, Sarah Gadon and Patrick Dempsey additionally star. <\/p>\n

\n\tBack in October, Driver spoke to Variety<\/em><\/a> about getting behind the wheel of a modified \u201copen-wheel single seater\u201d for the movie, calling the expertise \u201cterrifying.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt teleports you back to the time and you realize if you turn left or right the wrong way, then you\u2019re dead,\u201d Driver informed\u00a0Variety<\/em>\u00a0on the \u201cFerrari\u201d North American premiere on the\u00a0New York Film Festival<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s at least seatbelts in the newer cars.\u201d<\/p>\n
