A Florida elementary college instructor is now dealing with fees after allegedly putting and pulling a 4-year-old autistic little one. According to WKMG<\/a>, the girl was arrested Thursday.<\/p>\n According to the outlet, 48-year-old Stacy Strnad was arrested by Edgewater Police on Thursday at her Port Orange, Florida dwelling. Strnad has reportedly been hit with \u201cchild abuse and battery charges.\u201d<\/p>\n WKMG<\/a> provides that the girl has since bonded out of jail. However, an announcement from Volusia County Schools has revealed that Strnad has now been \u201cplaced on leave pending\u201d the police division\u2019s investigation.<\/p>\n \u201cOn Thursday, Sept. 7, a teacher at Indian River Elementary School was arrested for allegedly slapping a student. The teacher has been placed on leave pending an investigation,\u201d the assertion learn, as per WKMG<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The assertion added that Volusia County Schools \u201cfollowed all protocols\u201d in \u201cimmediately responding\u201d to the incident. Additionally, it defined that the district is cooperating with legislation enforcement because the investigation progresses.<\/p>\n Volusia County Schools added that it takes \u201cany behavior that jeopardizes the safety of our students\u201d and guardian\u2019s belief \u201cseriously.\u201d Furthermore, the assertion defined that the district strives to \u201cfoster a safe and respectful learning environment\u201d for its college students.<\/p>\n \u201cAny such behavior that does not align with these standards will not be tolerated.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n According to The Daytona Beach News-Journal<\/a>, Edgewater Police Captain Charles Geiger defined to the outlet that authorities have been knowledgeable of the incident Thursday. Additionally, Fox 35 Orlando<\/a> stories that the incident befell that very same day.<\/p>\n Upon investigation, police found that the instructor allegedly struck the unnamed 4-year-old with an open hand twice on his arm. Then, when the kid ran away from Strnad, she allegedly grabbed him by his arm and pulled him backward.
