Michael, born in Lebanon in 1922, was well-known for enjoying Cochise within the TV collection Broken Arrow<\/em>, Kane within the 1979\u20131981 collection Buck Rogers within the twenty fifth Century<\/em>, and Commander Kang in Star Trek: The Original Series<\/em>.<\/p>\nThe couple would go on to welcome their solely little one, son Matthew Ansara<\/strong>, August 29, 1965.\u00a0\u201cWe called him our lucky-charm baby,\u201d Barbara wrote in her 2011 autobiography Jeannie Out of the Bottle<\/em>. \u201cOur joy was boundless. We had a child at last, and we loved him more than words could say.\u201d Barbara and Michael would find yourself divorcing in 1974 and the actor handed away in 2013 on the age of 91.<\/p>\nSadly, Matthew struggled with substance abuse dysfunction, and on June 26, 2001, he died at age 35 from a drug overdose. \u201cOur joy was boundless, and our hopes that he would live a healthy and happy life were unlimited,\u201d Barbara wrote in her e book. \u201cMatthew meant everything to both of us, and always would.\u201d<\/p>\n
