Corey Taylor<\/a> has praised Sleep Token<\/a> and in contrast the mysterious masked band to early Slipknot<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sleep Token launched their third album \u2018Take Me Back To Eden<\/a>\u2019 on Friday (May 19). Speaking concerning the band in a brand new interview with Allison Hagendorf<\/a>, Corey Taylor mentioned (by way of Loudwire<\/a><\/em>): \u201cI\u2019ll call them metal, but there\u2019re so many different levels and layers [to the music]. There\u2019s pop elements, there\u2019s jazz elements. I love the fact that nobody really knows who they are. I love the fact that they don\u2019t want to be known.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere are hints of early, early Slipknot there,\u201d he continued. \u201cAt first we were like, \u2018Nope. You get nothing. This is what you get, you figure it out. We\u2019ll let the music speak for ourselves\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
