NEW YORK CITY:<\/strong> Liz Carlson<\/a> has been named the interim creative director of New York Stage and Film (NYSAF).<\/a> The announcement comes as Chris Burney plans his departure after serving three years NYSAF\u2019s creative director, wherein function he succeeded Johanna Pfaelzer<\/a>. Burney is leaving to pursue academic and business alternatives. During his tenure, Burney supported artists by the pandemic with new initiatives like the Nexus Initiative<\/a>, on-line improvement and readings, in addition to expanded mentorship alternatives. She brings a deep understanding of NYSAF and the artistic community it serves.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Carlson has labored with NYSAF for the previous 15 years in varied roles. For seven years, she served as NYSAF\u2019s full-time creative producer, supporting a whole bunch of artists, together with C\u00e9sar Alvarez, Jaki Bradley, and Lyndsey Bourne. Carlson additionally\u00a0served because the creative director for the brand new works incubator Naked Angels from 2013 to 2016.
