\nI wrote these songs surrounded by the wild landscapes of the Northwest, however I used to be leaning towards the place I\u2019d come from. I felt lower off from my household and the valley that held them. I spent hours fascinated with my sense of belonging. I\u2019d traveled by many locations after which, when the journey stopped, I ruminated on the place I had ended up. Where had been you when the music stopped? I used to be in Enterprise, OR. And there in Enterprise, my thoughts drifted again to the Valley of Heart\u2019s Delight. <\/p>\n
I wrote about household \u2014 about dying and rebirth, and the arcs of affection and artwork by a household line. There are songs that trace at missteps and redemption. There are songs about bushes: in orchard rows, household bushes, redwoods. And water: agricultural runoff, wild rivers, dammed rivers, baptismal flows. And there\u2019s a [cover] track a few fish, trigger it\u2019s a rattling good track and I needed to document it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
