Jacklyn Zeman<\/strong>, who starred as Bobbie Spencer on\u00a0General Hospital<\/em> for greater than 40 years, is useless. The actress was 70 years previous. News of her demise was confirmed by\u00a0General Hospital\u2019s<\/em> government producer,\u00a0Frank Valentini<\/strong>, who took to Twitter<\/a> on May 10 to share the devastating information.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn behalf of our\u00a0General Hospital<\/em> family, I am heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Jackie Zeman,\u201d he wrote. \u201cJust like her character, the legendary Bobbie Spencer, she was a bright light and true professional that brought so much positive energy with her to work. Jackie will be greatly missed, but her positive spirit will always live on with our cast and crew. We send our heartfelt sympathy to her loved ones, friends, and family, especially her daughters, Cassidy and Lacey.\u201d<\/p>\n
