The new King and Queen of England aren\u2019t afraid of just a little PR.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Viewers of Sunday night time\u2019s American Idol<\/em> episode received a royal shock when the newly topped couple appeared in a livestream alongside judges Katy Perry<\/a> and Lionel Richie<\/a>, who have been within the U.Ok. to carry out at King Charles<\/a>\u2018 coronation.<\/p>\n

In their Idol<\/em> debut, the new King and Queen appeared from Windsor Castle. Before their on-screen entrance, Richie, 73, said the coronation was \u201cunbelievable.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re making an attempt to determine what we will do to convey one thing totally different to the present,\u201d he continued. Dressed in a glittering black jacket, Richie feigned nervousness as he welcomed his \u201csurprise\u201d into the room.<\/p>\n

Perry, wearing a silky inexperienced robe and enormous pearl necklace and teardrop earrings, curtsied as King Charles and Queen Camilla ambled into body.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanted to check, how long you will be using this room for?\u201d King Charles coyly requested the\u00a0American Idol\u00a0<\/em>judges.<\/p>\n

He and Queen Camilla thanked Perry, 38, and Richie for his or her performances.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you so much. You\u2019re brilliant as always,\u201d he advised the singers. \u201cFantastic, absolutely fantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richie joked that King Charles was throwing a celebration \u201cright next door.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, you\u2019ve heard about that,\u201d King Charles replied. \u201cWe better take you to that, but you are busy with all these other things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richie promised to affix the occasion as quickly as he and Perry have been completed with the Idol<\/em> message.<\/p>\n
