What the fuck do I know?\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2018Chaos For The Fly\u2019 is due out on June 30, 2023 through Partisan Records, with the announcement following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/fontaines-dc-grian-chatten-shares-debut-solo-single-the-score-listen-here-3435367\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launch of the Irish artist\u2019s debut solo launch \u2018The Score\u2019 final week<\/a>. You can pre-order\/ pre-save the<a href=\"https:\/\/grianchatten.lnk.to\/chaos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0album right here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of the contemplative new observe in a press assertion, Chatten stated: \u201cI wrote \u2018Fairlies\u2019 in intense heat. Partly in Jerez, Spain, partly in LA a couple of days before a Fontaines D.C. tour kicked off. I just stood there and looked at them and I heard the whole fucking thing. Every part of it, from the chord progressions to the string arrangements.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cI simply thought: I wish to do that myself. I do know the place we as a band are going subsequent and that\u2019s not the place I wish to go along with this. I\u2019ve bought a few exaggerated features of my soul that I wished to precise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe rest of the band are all creative and songwriters in their own right, too. I didn\u2019t want to go to them and be like, \u2018No, every single thing has to be like this.\u2019 I didn\u2019t want to compromise with these songs in that way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for the writing course of, Chatten stated \u201ca lot of the album was written with just me and a guitar and I really like the idea of it being boiled down to those elements\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat feeling of having the song in the palm of your hand, that control of having it with just you and a guitar.
