It’s a wrap for Rebecca Minkoff on Bravo‘s The Real Housewives of New York City.
After one season, the purse designer is leaving the franchise and beginning a brand new chapter of her life.
“2025 is a new beginning for me and with current events in the world, I am reminded the importance of family, friends and community now more than ever,” Minkoff mentioned in an announcement posted on Instagram. “The last month has given me a new perspective on wanting to focus on my wildly amazing 4 kids, my supportive husband, my business of 20 years, the Female Founder Collective, my podcast and MY BOOK.”
Minkoff joined the franchise in Season 15 in a “friend of” position, that means she was solely recurring and never a full-time forged member. The entrepreneur appeared to wrestle with confrontation, particularly when her co-stars questioned her Scientology beliefs.
“As much as I have learned along the way with this franchise and fans, I want to reprioritize the things that mean the most to me: designing, giving back, supporting women and raising my family,” she continued. “I am truly grateful for the experience, the friendships and the fans that have been part of this RHONY chapter. Time to turn the page.”
Minkoff introduced her departure after RHONY Season 15 wrapped on Bravo. She was featured within the two-part reunion, making a small look within the episode aired on Tuesday, February 4. Minkoff aired her grievances with the women, saying their questions on Scientology didn’t appear real and the principle cause why she didn’t speak in confidence to them throughout her time on the present.
The RHONY Season 15 forged included Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, and Racquel Chevremont.
